With a multitude of options available, helping Bosh deliver the services we need can be as much or as little a commitment as you wish. Below are the key pillars of support for our charity to function at the grass-roots level, whilst reading on you can explore examples of the local and commercial community coming together to create fantastic projects that made a positive impact on Bristols homeless community.

Donate
BOSH relies heavily on your generous donations for our outreach services.
We go through some items very consistently including bedding, clothing, wash provisions and food.

Volunteer
BOSH is a voluntary group and relies on the generosity of its volunteers to be able to deliver the service we can.
Our team of volunteers are trained in both first aid and mental health first aid, as well as a host of relevant topics to their work. If you are interested in volunteering please get in touch.

Community projects
We are so pleased to be a part of the wonderful initiative set up by Mathias & Sons, utilising obsolete uniforms and teaching prisoners from HMP Bristol to use an overlocker machine to overbadge the previous logo with the BOSH boxing gloves! This gives prisoners a new skill with the possibility of employment on release and saves huge amounts of garments going to landfill. We are then able to donate these items from the homeless hub. | Following a fabulous donation from Cabot Circus Lost Property department, a number of bicycles have been snapped up by clients and with some tlc, the bikes are being adopted and put to good use! | ESC- Eddies Street Cuts & The Beauty Of Caring CIC donate their amazing skills and time to our service users every month, providing confidence and happiness where much needed! | A fantastic success exhibiting over 90 pieces of art from the homeless community, the event was opened by Miss Bristol GB Imogen Chapman, preceding a brilliant turn-out from the local community! | A fantastic partnership with The Provincial Grand Lodge of Bristol, Simon Moss & Mike Whitworth has led to many donations, fund raising and special events in Bristol over the past few years, giving BOSH a bit of everything we need to succeed! | We have seen a rising demand for support, with a 45% increase in the number of clients accessing our service in the last six months. It is clear that the charity sector plays a vital and diverse role in the community and show a commitment to work collaboratively with other agencies. | We are so proud of #eddieilic & the team for their incredible fundraising, over £9000 for #eddiesstreetcuts #otrbanes & #boshoutreach, cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End! |

We are pleased to announce following training sessions with the Daniel Baird Foundation, a bleed kit has been installed to the exterior of the homeless hub, enabling 24/7 access for all! | Thank you to the team Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) for visiting the hub over Easter period, mental health doesn't recognise bank holidays, a crisis hits at any time | We are delighted to say that four team members completed their training today, we now have two community champions based at the hub and two trained assistants. It is well known that there are many challenges and barriers in accessing health and wellbeing for some members of more socio-economically deprived communities. The blood pressure awareness project aims to encourage people to become more interested in looking after their health and wellbeing and ultimately support them to improve their ov | Local New Covenant Church teamed up with BOSH to share many fantastic donations that are vital in the daily struggles of our street friends! | We have had an incredible two days of corporate volunteering with regional managers from EE giving their time to support us and more importantly our clients, in the Homeless hub. They came laden with much needed donations including food, toiletries, mobile phone chargers, clothing & new trainers. They have all worked extremely hard, either in the kitchen, dining room, front of house, helping choose new outfits, spending time chatting & making sure clients left with a smile on their face. | We were very pleased to have been invited to take part in the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP Winter Wellbeing event at the Galleries in Broadmead. Not only was it an excellent opportunity to network with other agencies but to meet members of the public who either wanted to know more about our work or needed advice for themselves. | We are absolutely delighted to have had a team from Pfizer UK join us in the hub this morning and volunteer their services. James & the team came laden with donations, socks, underwear, toiletries, cereals, sugar, chocolate bars, crisps and bottled water! |
We are very pleased to have been asked to be an official agent for The Big Issue Bristol. Vendors will be able to access the BOSH hub between 12 and 5.30 pm Tuesday to Friday to buy additional magazines when the Big Issue office is closed. | We are very excited to have worked alongside incredible street photographer Pit_Lad who helped run a Camera Club in the hub, he had given disposable cameras to five street homeless clients for them to take photographs of their every day lives, as gritty and raw as that might be. He will then develop & exhibit those photographs! | A very big thank you to Unite for donating to BOSH; Bristol Outreach Services for the Homeless, your donation is very much appreciated and will help us immensely | Utilising technology in a handy and novel way, V-shed set up their ordering app to allow customers to directly order fresh food for the homeless community easily and conveniently. | A very big thank you to the lovely T, from DET Community for the donation of Easter eggs & trainers, we are so grateful & as predicted the eggs flew out! | A fantastic partnership where Bosh drop in to offer advocacy services. Darren & Kirsty are such welcoming hosts & the Jobcentre in Shirehampton go above & beyond to help their clients. | This morning at the hub, we are very grateful to have the expertise of the substance misuse worker from the Street Intervention Team, talking to clients about the dangerous batch of heroin currently going around and the importance of not using alone, not using too much, and carrying naloxone |
