Assisting with benefits applications

A very busy week already, someone was referred by another agency for food, we spoke about their situation and it was apparent that they were not claiming their full benefits entitlement. We suggested that they came to the hub this morning to meet with WRAMAS (Welfare Rights and Monetary Advice Service) and have a benefits review, they did and are very pleased with the outcome. Applying for benefits can be confusing, we are here to help with this process and WRAMAS attend every Tuesday. It is important to help clients engage with the appropriate support.
